Each member cooperative keeps its own history and expertise, and contributes volume and consistency to the joint supply.
For more than 95 years, Cooperativa Vinícola Garibaldi has honoured the craft that made it one of the country's most recognised brands of wine, sparkling wine and juice. Work rooted in the heritage left by the immigrant pioneers who introduced grape growing to the Serra Gaúcha — today a symbol of their achievement in a new homeland.
Today, 477 member families across 18 municipalities tend 1,200 hectares of vineyards that yield an average harvest of 30 million kilos every year.

The history of Nova Aliança Vinícola Cooperativa began in the late 19th century, with the arrival of Italian immigrants in the Serra Gaúcha. Facing a challenging and unexplored landscape, they had to start over. From that fresh start, winegrowing was born in the region.
With the turn of the 21st century, the need for innovation, modernisation and a new strategic outlook became clear. In 2010, five cooperatives joined forces and founded Nova Aliança Vinícola Cooperativa, carrying on a legacy of hard work, resilience and commitment to people.

Founded in 1931 by Italian immigrant families in Farroupilha (RS), Cooperativa Vinícola São João combines historical tradition with modern practice.
